Social services are developed in an uneven and unequal manner across the EU countries. There are many challenges in the sector, accumulating due to a variety of factors, such as legal and policy issues, quality social assistance standards’ development etc. It is also important that social services are planned and implemented in a way that respects the human rights of service users and ensures higher quality and accessibility for them. Partnerships among different actors, both at national and international level, play a key role in the delivery of quality social services.
With the organisation of this Expert Meeting CHRDRI aims to contribute to a deepened debate and exchange of best EU practices among various institutions and organizations, working in the field of social services.
